Elk Ridge 2nd Addition Lots Become Available

The second addition of Elk Ridge development is now available in Northwest Bismarck.   The new addition consists of nearly 100 single-family and twin-home lots, and slated for completion in early fall 2021. This neighborhood expansion comes only one year after the first addition of Elk Ridge was announced in the spring of 2020. The entire Elk Ridge development will be the largest development in Northwest Bismarck, covering more than 600 acres near Tyler Coulee.

The new addition, located approximately one mile west of Horizon Middle School, consists of 97 residential lots and will also be home to Bismarck’s Northwest Elementary School, the area’s newest elementary school set to open fall of 2022. Elk Ridge residents have access to shared community amenities including Elk Ridge Park, a 5.4 acre park featuring an outdoor pickleball complex, playground equipment, green space and a shelter for events.

“We’re very excited to announce the 2nd Addition to Elk Ridge knowing what it will bring to the community of Northwest Bismarck, and Bismarck as a whole,” says Cam Knutson, owner of Knutson Realty, the brokerage overseeing sales for this development. “Northwest Bismarck is the fastest-growing part of town and the lots in Elk Ridge’s 1st Addition are almost sold out.  This addition and its amenities will continue to contribute to the growth, success and community development we’re fortunate to see in this area.”

The team at Knutson Realty has worked with the property owners, city planners and engineering companies to create a masterplan for the entire Elk Ridge development that consists of walking trails, public-use spaces, additional parks and green spaces. All home builders are able to build in the Elk Ridge development.

“Bismarck is a rapidly-growing and vibrant community,” says Knutson.  “It’s humbling and gratifying to play a part in creating the type of communities and spaces Bismarck’s residents want to call home.”
